PRIXCE FUSHIMI IX EXGLAXD.
London, May 10. . Prince Fushima was presented with the freedom of London. He has been accorded a great popular welcome everywhere.

London, May 11. Sir Edward Grey entertained Prince Fushimi at a banquet. Besides other members of the Government, there were present Lord Lnndsdowne, Earl Roberts, and Admiral Sir .John Fisher. Sir Edward Grey emphasied the community of spirit and intentions of the Anglo-jap-anese alliance. Should all others having interests in the Far East adopt, each iu their own way, the same policy, then indeed stability would be secured, and being conscious of community of interests, general goodwill among all would make peace pleasant and acceptable to everv one.
Prince Fushimi, responding, dwelt upon the special friendship of the two nations, and remarked that the maintenance of cordial relations were safely in keeping of able and tried hands.
