Constable OTlalloran, wdio has been relieving at Inglewood, returned to New Plymouth on Wednesday morning. Archbishop Redwood is on a visit to Taranaki. To-day he will be at llawera, administering the sacrament of confirmation.
The Hon. Jas. Carroll Native Minister, arrived at New Plymouth last night from (he West Coast, where he has been engaged on business in connection with his Department. Mr It. Tuit, of llawera, says the Star, has left for Wellington, en route for Scotland on a holiday trip. It is twenty-three years since Mr Tait left Scotland for New Zealand. He will be accompanied Home by his brother, who has resided for a number of years in Oamaru.
