At the Jfaori meeting at Waahi, the principal incident of Sunday's proceedings was a speech by llenare Kaihau. He referred to the treaty of Waitangi, which, he said, laid never been broken by the natives. So far as they were concerned, it was still in force, ami the only means of getting it recognised by the New Zealand Parliament was to send a petition to the King. When proceedings were resumed this afternoon, Kaihau made further reference to the same subject.
