Per Press Association. Dunedin, April 30. A case against the Invcrcargill shipping Coy. for not reporting to the Marine Department an accident to the steamer Invercargill at Waikawa on 14th March, was heard before Mr Widdowson, N.M., to-day. The point at issue was whether the vessel had lv.n so materially damaged by going en a rock as to seriously alVect her seaworthiness. The Magistrate's opinion was thai the damage was not suliicienl to materially ailed the seaworthiness of Ul l vessel, and the case was dismissed.
