The Customs duties collected at Aucklad for April totalled £72,014, as compared with £IO,IOO for the corresponding period hist year, showing an increase of £23.814. The export for gold shows a decrease, the quantity exported this month being 11,* TSSo/.s lTdvvts, as compared with 10,0(1!) ozs lOdwts for April last year) Putter exported this month was 4707ewt, of the value of £23,800, as against 2244cwt, valued at £11,340 in April, 1000. At a meeting of the Harbor Board today, it was slated that during the past quarter the revenue of the Board had sho.wn ail increase of £3045, which was a record.
