Mr (leorge says if Mr Tait (ex-county chairman) had seen more of Eve; Is on the road he may have made an attempt to alter it. A compliment indeed from a very capable man. Let me fell Mr Ceorge that Evetts' road carries more Icuvy trallie than any road in (he comity, and, considering the labor ami material supplied, is tile best maintained road in Taranaki. evetts has given ;he council more than one bit of advice which they have seen lit to act When the'(.'tnmly Council loses Kveils tliev will lose a goo,?, honest, practical men, and they wiil be very lucky indeed if ihcv can find his equal as a road foreman.—l am, etc., IXTEIIESTED.
