UNIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIPS.
Per I'ress Association. Wellington, April 57. The Government has granted £220t0 provide further accommodation lit Victoria College. A sum will be placed on the Estimates sufficient to award Master Humphry V. Parker, of fiisborne, a C4O scholarship equal lo a Queen's Scholarship, which through a technicality lie was unable to accept. Henry L. Cock and (Hive V. Ibiddrell. Queen's Scholarship winners, of New Plymouth, will be granted continuation scholarships of -040 at Victoria College. A Jacob Joseph Scholarship iias been awarded by the College Council to C. B. Collins, of Wellington. It Is proposed to grant a vacant Queen's Scholarship to Marion Whvte, of Havelock,
