Ladies' ('hain])ionship Singles: Miss Xunnelley beat Miss Wcllwood, o—l, 0-3. ■■• : i-:-ki Ladies' Championship Doubles: Misses I'owdrcll and Travels beat Misses Nunnelley and Wcllwood, -J—o, (I—3, o—3. Men's Handicap Singles.—First grade: 11. Brown (8) beat Redward (18), GO—--50. Men's Handicap Doubles: Wallace and Dickie (scratch) beat Ebbett and Adams (15), 70-03. Ladies' Handicap Doubles: Misses Davis and Williams (30) beat Misses Ward and K. Williams (owe 5), 50—47. Combined Handicap Doubles: Miss Travels and Brown (3) beat Miss Williams and Clarke, 50—48. In the morning the winners of the semi-linal of the Combined Championship Doubles, between Miss Ward and Cox and Miss Travers and Brown, hove to meet Miss Xunnelley and Adams in the final. Hmythe and Slomau have to meet Cox and Fisher in the final of the Men's Championship Doubles. SOUTH LAND TOURNAMENT. Per Press Association. Tuverciugill, April 2. The tennis tournament concluded today in line weather. R. S. Brown (Dunedin) won the Championship Singles of Otaijo, mid, with his brother, S. N. Brown, won the Championship Doubles. The Men's Handicap Singles was won by Salmond (Diinediu), and the Handicap Doubles by Briekell und Mooro (Diinediu). The Combined Doubles was won by S. T. Brown and Miss Campbell; the Uulies' Handicap Singles by Miss Hisloji; and the Ladies' Handicap Doubles by .Misses Hislop mid Jackson, all of Dunedin. UNIVERSITY TOURNAMENT. Per Press Association. Auckland, April 2. The lennis competitions in connection with the Vniversity tournament concluded today, all the events being won by Victoria College. The Men's Singles was won by l'ronse (Victoria), the Men's Doubles hv l'ronse and Bogle (Victoria). Ladies' Singles by Miss Scott (Victoria), and the Lailies'Doubles by Misses Scott and Cox (Victoria), lr the Combined Doubles, Prouse and Mi> Scott, and Bogle and Miss Cox (all Vh toriu) won their events, and will p] n oli for the final at Wellington.
