Without explanation, a black cross appeared at the head of a column of the Union of Russian People's organ, "Runkoe Zraniya,,' at St. Petersburg, yesterday. A few hours later a youth emerged from the courtyard in Moscow, where the offices of the same Party's organ, Veich," is situated, and shot Dr. Jollob, editor of the "Rnsskuja Vntedomosti," the foremost supporter of the Constitutional Democrats, dcud, nud escaped. GREAT EXCITEMENT AT MOSCOW AND ST. PETERSBURG, :■■ '-1 I Received 28th, 11.29 p.m. Loudon, March 28. Renter states that great excitement prevails iu both cities. The newspaper "Vicch" announced the late Heitzeisteiii's murder beforehand. ATTEMPTED ASSASSINATION. Received 30th, 12.27 a.m. St. Petersburgh, March 29. While Admiral Greve, Port Commandant, at St. Petersburg, was inspecting the slip where the cruiser Bayan is building, a large bomb was hurled at him, but fell iu the huow, and did not explode. The thrower escaped.
