RE-ADJUSTMENT OF TAXATION NECESSARY. .' " - Received 27th, 9.33 p.m. I London, March 27. Mr. Asquith, Chancellor of the Exchequer, accepted Mr. Bennett's resolution declaring it was necessary to readjust the burden of taxation in order jto provide urgently needed social reforms. The resolution was agreed to. Mr. Hills denied that Ministerialists were able to finance the social programme under the free trade system.
