THE IMPERIAL CONFERENCE
FACILITATING hill W. LAURIER'S ATTENDANCE. Ottawa, March 20. Sir F. W. Borden, Leader of the Opposition in the Dominion House of Commons, referring to rumors that Sir Wilfred Laurier (the Premier) would not attend the Imperial Conference, offered to co-operate in any reasonable arrangement to enable him to attead. Sir W. Laurier assured Sir F. W. Borden that he was nowise unwilling to participate in the Conference, but that the work of the session was : I in-. lie hoped the Opposition would expedite it to enable himself and his colleagues to start on the sth.
