SOME APREIIENSION FELT. NATIVES WANT THE •• ItUAITES " DISPERSED. Per Press Association. Uisborne, March 20. Veavs are again expressed concerning the "Prophet" Rua and his followers. Natives who were working in tile vicinity of liis camp at Hangaroa have returned to their homes owing to the sullen disposition shown towards them by Una and his followers. At the unveiling ceremony of the monument to Ileta te Kani at Kakirikivi to-day, the matter was referred to by the natives, who declared that Rna has ;iOO to 400 followers prepared to do anything he bids 'them, and the natives fear that when Rna feels he is strong enough, he will cease his peaceful profession and adopt an aggressive attit udo. The opinion was expressed that a force should be sent to scatter Run and his followers. The natives state Rua's followers are weekly increasing, that he is gathering large supplies of food, and that, lie has refused to move from the property on which he is 'encamped, though requested to do so by the chief.
