FEMALE SUFFRAGE
WARNING BY A MAGISTRATE. London, March 22. The Magistrate warned the suffragettes that a repetition of their offence would involve imprisonment without the option of a fine. PETITION AGAINST ENFRANCHISEMENT. Received 24th, 4.54 p.m. London, March 23. A petition, signed by 37,000 women in Britain and Ireland, has been presented to the House of Commons against enfranchisement.
