PARKER'S HIULLIAXT PLAY. Received ,\larcli 21, l.ti a.m. Sydney, March 20. Parker maintained top form at, the opening of the match for the championship ot Ken- South Wales, beating Kidslone three set* straight. A large gathering is expected at the New Plymouth Club's courts this afternoon to bid fareweli to Mr and Mrs \V. L. Fitzherbert, who arc shortly leaving for Pahnerston North. The club lo.se two mose enthusiastic members by llieir departure. During the afternoon a number of interesting matches will be played. At 2 p.m. Hie match against the Ifetmi Club starts; tho team consists of two ladies and eight men. At 3 p.m. the final for the eiub's men's championship, best of live sets, will be •played botwocn J(. C. Nicholson (the' present champion) and TSJ Griffiths. Later in the afternoon the ladies' handicap doubles' final will also be played between Misses Taylor and L Webster and Misses ]?. Webster and D. Simpson. The Hemii match arrangements will be in the hands of Mr E. Griffiths.
