LAND BILL CAMPAIGN.

MR. JSODDIK L\ OTAGO. Per Press Association. Mr. James Boddie, of Fltlmin. who was for three years provincial president of the TarauuKi brunch of the Farmers Virion, commenced a series of meetings he proposes to hold in Otago for the consideration of the land question in the public hall here to-night. Mr. lioddie freely criticised the Government Land Hill. At the close of the meeting the following resolution, moved by Mr, Macgrcgor, was unanimously agreed to;- "That this meeting is of opinion that any proposals submitted on the Land Hill will not lie acceptable to this country unless provision is made for the optional tenures."
