Mr Botha declared he intended to try and create a L'nited South Africa, and he would try all means to help the mines, while resist ng the attempts of powerful corporations to prevent prospecting the country. He did not intend to reduce the natives to a scrvi> state, but would encourage ihcin to become useful aud contented workers. Ht> announced that lie intended to attend the Colonial Conferece.
