GERMANY ANGRY.
1 SMARTING UNDER ISOLATION. A WARNING TO BRITAIN. BOMBASTIC THRKATS. Received 11, 9.43 p.m.
Berlin, March 11. The *' Neue Politische " correspondent (who is frequently the mouthpiece of the German Government), vrarns England not to provoke too ieiteily a world historic decision as to whom the supremacy of Europe belongs. After basely expelling Germany's friendship (the correspondent proceeds) England spun a diplomatic net which already unpleasantly hampers Germany s freedom. If she persists Ger-, many may some day ruthlessly destroy the artificial net before she is too tigh.iy hemmed in. France, says the article, pulls the chestnuts from the lire for England; we shall make the fire yery hot. The army Germany could plice in the field ion the first day of mobilisation would be sufficient to crush France, even if part were detached to operate against England.
