We arc phased to learn that Mr P, J. White, proprietor of the Whangainomona lioyal Mail Coaches, is making a satisfactory recovery in the New Plymouth Hospital, and hopes to be about again iu a fortnight's time. Mrs P. T. Pollock, wife of the licensee of the Commercial Hotel, 81 ratlord, died at 5 o'clock on Sunday morning, at Stratford, after a short illness.
