" The Times' " Paris correspondent says that Germany lias Utterly made strenuous exertions to establish a policy of rapprochment with Denmark in the hope of neutralising the Danish Straits, making the Bal'ie a mare cluusum. He adds that Germany is steadily deyeloping her influence with Sweden aud Norway, and soon will be preponderant in the Baltic.
