Manning and Christie, arrested in connection wi'.h the gold robbery from the Island steamer Navua were before the Water Police Court to-day. Detective Walker stated that owing to instructions from Auckland police, he had no evidence to offer, and the accused were discharged. They subsequently left for Auckland ]
