Tito first general meeting of the recent lj formed Caledonian Society was held in the Toivn Jlall last night. There was a splendid attendance, Mr K. Webster presiding. The programme submitted by the provisional committee, totalling nearly £7O, was Willi some ..dditional variety events adopted.
The terms offered by the Western Park Hoard for the use of the fjrouuds for the inaugural gathering on Easter Vljuday were accepted, and it was resolved to a<k the Bxird to declare Raster Monday the opening day of the Park.
