A number of competitors from Southland will also take part. The demonstration by members of 'the Christian Endeavour' Unions will also be held tomorrow, Ihe Besses Band will commence a return season of twelve afternoons anil evenings on the 28th 111st. Large promises of entries have already , been received for the pet hliow, to be held at "Wonderland" in connection with the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, 011 Friday, March Bth. A number qf performing Opossum,s from Tasmania will be among the pets on view, which will constitute an extremely mixed assemblage. Thi) "Wonderland" Proprietary will provide all prizes to the value of over thirty guineas, and defray all expenditure, in addition to making a handsome donation to the funds of the Society, The display of daylight fireworks 011 the afternoon of Saturday week is expected to bring an unprecedented number of children to the Exhibition. Tao attendance to-day reached the high total of 15.707, bringing the aggregate to date up to 1,200,278.
