The monthly meeting of the Klliott .Road Hoard was held at Mr Htoeker's ollice on Saturday afternoon. Present—Messrs R. (ilogg (chairman), 11. Goodacre, II Ilorne, and A. B ; gelow A requisition from Elliott- road ratepayers Id \ip an extension of 1 the Cutlield-rond! was received.— I The Board decided 'to hold the matter over till next meeting pen'diiiug investigations. I Several complaints won; made to the Board re horses being allowed to go loose! In their paddocks at a. smart pace along the Jilliott-road. This was dangerous to persons driving and to children o'n the road. Heading matters were al-o dlscussel. Accounts lo the amount of Ci'i Ids lid were passed for payment, anil the J>oard rose.
