(Pci Association). '] Asiißrmox, January 12. ■ Tliere was a fair attendance at a j meeting addressed here on Saturday night by Mr J. Donoyan, Irish Nationalist delegate, the Mayor presiding. At the conclusion of the address, of nearly two hours duration, the following resolution was passed unanimously: '■ This meeting having heard Mr Donovan's address, tenders him its heartiest thanks, and hopes that in the near future Ireland will enjoy the blessing i of self government which New Zealand so highly prize." The amount collceird for the fund in the Ashburton district totals about £2OO. Wellikoto.v, January 13. Mr J. Devlin, the Irish Nationalist party's envoy, was entertained in the concert room of the Town lla'.l last evening, aboui fiye hundred persons being present, Mr Devlin is due to speak at Mastcrlon on 11th January, Hastings on the loili, and Napier on the Kith. His mispun will be concluded at Auckland on the :!oth. The treasurer of the Home Kule Fund (Mr Martin Kennedy) li.ii received i! 110 from Gore and £325 from Dunedin.
