CHAMPIONS' WELCOME HOME. (Per Press Association.) Gisuoese, January 13. A most enthusiastic reception was accorded the Te Rau bowlers (winners of North Island Championship) on their return on Saturday night. They were met by ihe City Band and driven round in a brake wilh four greys attached. At a social gathering, felicitous speeches were made, and great praise given to Masterton for the way the tournament had been managed, snd for the hospitable treatment of the visitors. The team attributed their victory to their complete harmony, and reliance on the skip.
