Sliccp. —There was a full market, and wethers sold 17s to 24s (id; ewes 12s to 18s lid. Lambs sold from 10s to 17s. l'igs.—Tlu-re was keen competition, and small made lis Ud to 15s lid; baconers, to 05s.

At the Mart there was a fair entry of poultry, prices ranging as follows: Chicks -Id to 7<l, liens Js 2d to Is fid, cockerels Is (id to 2s 3d, ducks Is 7d ducklings lOd to Is Od. A large <[iuuitity of furniture and sundries was disposed of at prices in favor of buyers. Fruit: During tins week 1 held three, large sales of fruit, disposing of over 1700 boxes of fruit at prices as follows:—Apples Is to 4s Od box, plums 2s Od to us, small boxes and bad order Is to 2s, peaches, good. 4s to 0s Od, peaches, bad order, Is Od to 3s Od, apricot 4s Od to Gs od, pears 3s to 4s 0d ; cucumbers 2s to 5s Oil, tomatoes 2 to os, nectarines 4s to 7s, grapes 7d to Is 2d, bananas 4s to ijs, lemons as to 7s.
