A DANGEROUS PRACTICE.
Per Press Association. Hamilton, December 22. At the inquest on Crombic, the railway clerk who was killed on Saturday while exchanging tablets with the driver of the morning train, a verdict of accidental death was returned. The jury added a rider calling the attention of the Minister of Railways to the danger attached to the existing methods of exchanging tablets, and asking that enquiry be made with a view to minimising the danger of accidents.
