At Inglewood on Thursday, the local team .met Carrington-road juniors. Inglewood knocked up S2, L. Marsh (14), 13. Sutherland (13), JI. Sutherland (12) being the double figure scorers. Carrington-road replied with 58, Toms (24), Hammond (15), Wilson (8 not out) . For inglewood, M. I Sutherland and Thomas were the most successful trundlers, Wilson capturing five wickets for 23 runs for Carriug ton-road.
A match was played between the Fire Brigade C.C. and Eguiont Village C.O. on Thursday. The game ended in a draw. The Brigade declared their innings closed with live wickets down for 100 runs. The chief scorers were: Hardwick 12, Prior 12, Chitty 45 not out, W. Rock 2!) not out. Egmont Village made 01 for six wickets. I Thompson (22 runs) was the only one to reach double figures.
