THE LAND CAMPAIGN. j

HON. 11, McNAB Af HAMILTON Per Press Association. Hamilton, November 28. The Hon. R. MoNab, Minister of Lands, addressed a crowded meeting here to-night on the lines of last night's spe3ch at Onehungn, explaining the provisions ot the Land Bill. The Minister received a very good hearing, and at tlio close of his address the following resolution was carried almost unanimously:—" That the Hon. Mr McNab be tendered a hearty vote of thanks for his interesting and able .address on the Government land policy, and that this meeting approves .of his resolve to prosecute a vigorous [campaign of explanation throughout tho colony." He speaks at Clevedon to-morrow night. CnitiSTCHUHCH, November 28.

Interviewed by a Press reporter to•day, Sir Joseph Ward said that he was quite certain that the land proposals of the Government were not understood by the great muss of the people, for there was no proposal in i the .Land Bill which in any way could t loe construed as an interference with 'the freehold. He intended to take i parts in the li>,nd campaign soon, and i would probably speak first in the North.
