GREAT i- IRES OUT WEST. TWO HUNDRED MILES ABLAZE Sydney, November 27. Great bush fires and gran- fires are ' aging out west. News from Pooncarie states that a fire bas beta burning f.,r seven day-. A number of stations have been devastated, thft fire burning over a distance of 200 miles towards t'obar. Tne grass through thi;; eouu'ry is betwaen tarce and four feet r igh, and the flames rise to a height tf 70 iJkei. No man con get withiu a mile of the fire, it is so fierce. Without rain, the c ountry must be swept along the Darling 10 the Murray. FIRES STILL RAGING. SIGNS OF RAIN APPROACHING.
