m Received 22nd, 9.3 p.m. Sydney, November 22Mr Crick occupied the whole day with his statement of defence, generally denying the charges, in the course of Which he said that whilst his salary as a Minister of the Crown was his professional income waa never less than two thouand per annum. He had lost his practice ow'ng to too close attention to politics, and would have to start tram scratch again.
