ARBITRATION COURT.
Per Press Association. Masterton, November 15, . A sitting of the Arbitration -Court was held hero to-day. For breaches of the carpenters' award, fines'were inflicted from to/, to £3. For breaches of the painters and decorators' award the fines ranged from 10/' to £5, and for breaches of the hakers' award from 10/ to £3. An application for an extension of the Wellington tinsmith and sheet-iron workers' award to Wairarapa was granted, and an application for the inclusion of Wairarapa in the Wellington coachsmiths award was approved, excepting on the question pf the minimum rate of wages, local employers demandng 1/2 an hour instead of i/13 (Wellington wage), and also excepting the (ju'ettb'n of the establishment of a class for improvers.
