FROM OUR OWN' CORRESPONDENT. Mr R. Knowles, son of Mr James B. Knowea, met with a painful accident on Thursday. He was handling | some cattle when one of them put it= horn through his hand. Mr W. Jury, who has obtained the New Plymouth-Opunake mail contract for the enduing year, was out nere on Wednesday making arrangements in connecton with it.
The annual installation in connection with the ;oca! Masonic lodge. Lodge fkarua- took pace in the lodge on Thursday evening when Bro. \y. K. Francis \\a- ins ailed a= W.M. of the lodge by Wor. liio.
