At the sports meel.ng here there was a fair attendance. During a bicycle race, a serious accident happened to a young man named Trealor, of Reef ion. Rounding one of the bends, Trealor's pedal Btruck a pMt of the fence, throwing him with cons dorable force on to the rail. He was badly injured about the chest and head, and was removed to the hosp'tal. On inquiry at the hospital to-night, the patient was doing we 1, and no serious consequences are j ant c pated. Ryan, who was riding behind Trealor, was heavily thrown, being cut about the face and head.
