At the Presbyterian Assembly, this evening, the committee re the Theo« logical College reported that the to< ial attendance was 23, of whom threg belong to other denominations. Thq Rev. A. Cameron, in moving the. adoption of the report, said thore werei 70 men, all, with few atj work in New Zealand, who had been trained at the college. The report was adopted, and the donors of scholarships thanked. The Rey._ Dr„ Sidey, who has been 22 years clerk and treasurer of the Presbyterian General Assembly, was to-day presented with a portrait of himself in oils and purse of gold in recognition of his great services. The Rev. James McKerrow, Moderator, spoke in high terms of the work done for the Church by Dr. Sidey, who, in replying, asked the Moderator to hand the portrait to the Theological Committee to be placed among the records of men who had itift them,. "
