Per Press Association,, Hamilton, November 8, The Waikato A. and P. Show; commenced to-day in favourable wea-' ther. The entries total 926, being about a hundred in excess of last year. Podgree ShorthOrns; Mr Will took the prize for champion bull, and T., C Lichfield (Hamilton) for champion cow. Da'ry cattle were a fairly sl i°ng lot, particularly the younger stock, the latter mostly grade Jerseys and fat cattle, fit for any show.; Sheep in all cases were good? and in Linco.ns C.. T. Barr.ball, of Waiuku, look the championship for best ram, also for ewe. Wilia mTaylor, of Ts Awamutu, was, as usual, a large andi successful exhibitor.. His Master. Ruddington 11. was awarded the -championship, Mr W. G. Pain, of Cambridge and Ruakura, was a noteworthy exhibitor. Grade Shorthoros were a strong class, but some exception was taken to the judging. Pedigree Herefords were few, but of good quality. The Angus class was fairly well represented. Mr J. G. ; Allen, Morrinsville, took champion, for heifer and bull. Jerseys were a fairly strong class. Mr C. Day, of r;imahere, took the championship with his bull, and he also took- tho championship for the best cow or heifer. Ayrshires were well represented. Mr W. J. Hall exhibited thq champion bull, Ho'lsteins wore 3 good c'ass. Leiccsters were well represented, the Assets Realisation,
