THREATENING THE PREMIER.
ACCUSED COMMITTED FOR SENTENCE.. Per Press Association. Auckland, November 7. William Stephenson Aickin, charged with sending a threatening letior to the Prem.er, gieaded guilty. Replying to a request that he be released on bad, the Crown Prosecutor said he would consent if the suietics were substantial. The offence was a serious one, and accused had been shadowed by tho police for months. He was committed for sentence at the Supremo Court, bail being allowed in sureties of £SOO. each that accused would not lea v* tha province, and shall report himself ta the police at 5 p.m. • daily., .Tilt sureties were forthcoming..
