Mr J. Pca°e, of Eltham. went South by the Takapuna on Tuesday. Mr Len. Blenncrhassett, auctioneer, of Eltham, was in New Plymouth on Tuesday, returning to Eltliuui this morning, Captain Hood, harbour master, who has been laid up for a while with pneumonia, following- on an attack of influenza, is now : on the road to recovery. fl c was about the wharves again on Tuesday, but still shows traces of his illness. Mr T. N. Wheeler, a sun of Captain Wheeler, who has been for die past four years wharf clerk in the U.S.S. Cos New Plymouth office, lias severed his connection w'th the company, and left bv the Takapuna on 'Tuesday for Wellington, where he enters another sphere of business.
