Ter Press Association. Ciibisti Hiiicii. November i',. The Canterbury Agricultural and Pastoral Association's Exhibition four day's Show opened at the Adding:on Show Ground* to-day. The entries aire very large, the details being as follows: Competition 110, sheep 1070, cattle 3SV, hordes «SS, pigs 87, dogs 15, dressed poultry, cured and preserved meats, and seeds 2m". The show of stock is confined to the colony, entries expected from Australia not coining to hand, but exhibits hare been sent from all parts of the colony. The display of sheep is the finest yet shown south of the line, and the cattle also are a fine and representative collection, the pick of each district being ~" shewn. The stock will be judged tomorrow.
