WANDERED TO A CREEK, Per Press Association. Napier, October 31. A little girl, aged two years, daughter of a coach driver named Joseph Burton, was accidentally drowned /at Petane to-day Tho mother was engaged in washing near a smaU CU'ek, and the little one was playing close by Suddenly Mrs Burton missed the child, and on searching found her in the creek; some Tittle distance awav, but though every effort was made to restore animation life, was found to be extinct.
