EJjTHE PLUHKEX SHIELD. (Per Press Association). Chustchcbch, October 29. At a meeting of the New Zealand Cricket Council to-night, the conditions for the Plunket Challenge Shield were adopted, subject to the approyal of His Excellency. The shield is to be open for competition amongst all .Associations affiliated to the New Zealand Cricket Council, who would allot the shield to the Association whose rep team it considered to have the best record of the season 1906-07, such Association to hold the shield subject to the right of challenge by any other affiliated Association, the challenge match to be played on the ground of the holder of the shield.
