THE KOPENICK AFFAIR.
■ m ARREST, OF THE "CAPTAIN." Berlin, October 26. The bogus captain who created a ■Nutation at Kopenick was arrested at Rixdorf. BOASTS OF HIS EXPLOIT. A NOTORIOUS CRIMINAL. Received 28th, 4.36 p.m. Berlin. October 57. Particulars of the Kopenick affair show that the robber was a cobbler, and a native of TiHst. His name is Voigt. He was identified by means of his photograph. He arrived at Rixdorf, having in his possession a hundred pounds. He gloried in the exploit, and freely admitted being the perpetrator of the Tobbery. Voigt was never a soldier. but is a rather notorious criminal, having served sentences aggregating some years for thefts and forgery. . [The masquerader, aided by soldiers, whom he impressed by a forged order and a captains uniform, arrestad a Mayor and stole town funds.]
