He was identified by means of his photograph. He arrived at Rixdorf, having in his possession a hundred pounds. He gloried in the exploit, and freely admitted being the perpetrator of the Tobbery. Voigt was never a soldier. but is a rather notorious criminal, having served sentences aggregating some years for thefts and forgery. . [The masquerader, aided by soldiers, whom he impressed by a forged order and a captains uniform, arrestad a Mayor and stole town funds.]
