SUICIDE.
Per Press Association. Christchurch. October 16.
At the inquest held to-day touching the death of Frank S. Caines, who »a» found dead at the back of the Zetland Hotei yesterday afternoon with a bullet wound in his head, evidence was given that deceased suffered from insomnia. He had been dismissed from his employment in the morning owing to intemperance. A verdict of suicide while of unsound mind was returned.
