FIRE AT PORT CHALMERS.

Dunedin, October 16

A two-stofcy wooden building, an old landmark, was guited by fire at Port Chalmers £o-night. The brigade was able to prevent ihe fire spreading to adjoining buildings. The building was owned by Mrs Let-. and was uninsured. Her husband carried on business as a cabinetmaker in the place until recently. It is believed the place was insured.
