—«. Per Press Association. Invercargill, October 15. The Rev. E. W. Matthews, representing the British and Foreign Sailors' Society in connection with their "Victory" court at the 'Christchurch . Exhibition, arrived to-day, and pre- : sented the Borough Council with a bust of Nelson in "Victory" oak and ■ copper. To-morrow the Rev. Mat- . thews addresses the schools, and loaves-for Dunedin in the afternoon. He" is a most interesting speaker. The t object of his mission is to rouse the ' , interest of young people in the work , of his Society, by distribution at a ; low price of attractive Bouvenirs or charms made from "Victory" copper. . Mr Matthews brings a large bust of , Nelson for the Exhibition, which will ultimately find a place in Parliamentary Buildings.
