The Minister of Agriculture, in hi* opining speech, commenting on the price of fruit to the ion-umer. -aid Ik was never able to understand the diffi n-nce in the prices secured by ihe producer and that paid by the consumer If improved methods of handling couid be adopted, both consumers and producers would be benefited. The latter did not get half the price the former paid. That was a matter which the leaders of the State ought to take into considera tion.
