SUICIDE IN CHRISTCHURCH.
f Per Press Association. e Christchurch, October 15. b A man named Frank S. Caines e shot himself at the back of the Zetland s Hotel this afternoon. The man vis- . iled the hotel at about 4 o'clock, and i had a whisky. He was quite rational and sober when he left. ■ About half 5 an hour afterwards he was found e dead in an outhouse at the back of the hotel, with a revolver wound through his head, a new revolverbeside him, and a box of cartridges'iri ins pocket. The mart, who has a wife, ■and child, was discharged from his,' ; employment this morning. •
