SWEEPS OVER UNITED STATES IMMENSE DAMAGE TO FRUIT CROPS. Received 14th, 4.32 p.m. New York, October 13. A blizzard swopt across several of the States of America. Eight inches of snow fell in Michigan, where a hundred thousand bushels of grapes were frozen on the vinos.

The orchards in Ohio were devastated.

Immense damage was done to fruit trees in tho vicinity of Niagara.
