STRENGTHENING THE ARMY

A New Soudanese battalion is being formed to stiengthen the Egyptian army. The Arab battalion has also been strengthened, and a company of Kordofan Arabs is being recruited to strengthen the Camel corp», but the cavalry is being reduced by a squadron.
