The second performance by Ihe lnglewood Dramatic Company of "Not Such a F«ol as lie Looks" took place on Tuesday evening, and, as was expected alter ihe successful Hist performance, a packed house again assembled lo witness the society's second elfoi't. Croat credit is due to Mi Roberts for the slate of proficiency to which he has brought the society during the short time lie has had ai his disposal. ilr Roberts was fortunate, however, in having' such gifted amateurs at his disposal, ihe performance certainly leaving nothing' to be desired. The proceeds 011 lliis occasion were devoted to the Orchestra! .Society pnd Fire Brigade.
The cricket club's ball took place on Thursday evening, and was most successful from every poil of view. The music was supplied by the lnglewood orchestra, and the duties of M.C. were el'liciemlyi carried out by Mr F. Thornton.
